We said goodbye to the Pacific Coast...

...to Drakesbad Guest Ranch in Lassen Volcanic National Park.

We hiked to nearby Boiling Springs,
where we were able to observe hydrothermal phenomena.

There was abundant wildlife and plant life along the way..

We spent some evening time in the ranch's common space...

...and enjoyed the cool mountain evening...
